Payment
is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after
auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in
detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times
delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.
Overseas mail to some countries Italy, Russia, France, in particular
has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide
excellent service as is represented by our well over 21,000 positive feedback.
We use an ultrasonic KLAudio
machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully
packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of
3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad
inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.
We
take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please
give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we
will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare

THE SUMMER SOUNDS album is filled with haunting tunes, standing upon humanity s test of time..
The Summer Sounds were a New England group whose origin is a mystery, the one interesting fact is this album was released in 1969 and yet still has a 1965-66 garage sounds, the album is moody to its core and possibly is one of the finest moody garage albums to ever exist, It is fascinating that these teens were still playing a very melancholy and beautiful type of music in 69 when by this time bands were either going down the heavy psychedelic rock route or going the polar opposite and being utterly weak as folk styled singer-songwriters with no real emotional backbone.
THE SUMMER SOUNDS kept it real and in doing so delivered their music raw and alive. Their only album Up / Down is a still largely unknown garage-rock masterpiece and anyone who loves this type of music in particular the moody and subdued yet striking side of the genre might well consider this gem of an album ...
A 69 CLEAN private press original rightly costs a considerable and rising amount 56 years onward.
Ten amazing Vox-Continental organ led garage-memorable grooves, eight of the tracks are delightful originals penned by SUMMER SOUNDS themselves and also featured are two unique takes on The Spencer Davis Groups - Gimme Some Lovin and The Zombies classic I Love You .

Small World - A wonderful opening track to any album, Small World just tells it like it is.... the teen trauma in the chorus is something to behold Why Did We Break-Up? I really Don t Know...I sit here thinking of things long ago ..... This kid is hurting and the listener knows it, Anyone can relate to these types of emotions.... surely?
Lonely Beach - This track is a favorite on the album, to love is the haunting organ chords, the deep bass line and the mournful lyrics full of abandon and despair....Many will TOTALLY get this song, as it is a mirror-reflection of life .... an amazing track
The Leaves Are Turning Brown - Another moody classic, this one has been selected on a couple of garage comps over the years.... The vibe of the song again is full of reflection, rejection and yearning and again the lyrics hit you in the guts with powerful lyricism such as that which is in the chorus I was a fool to waste my time with you .... total awe inspiring realism.... the song s writing craft is something to uphold, the chord changes are simply beautiful and it is just a great magical track, The Summer Sounds were amazing song writers.
Summer Girl - Just a beautiful song and message .... If you are you know who you are reading this, this one is for you... maybe time will allow us see each other again one day
SO continues the sound of SUMMER SOUNDS, releasing possibly the greatest break-up LP then faded into obscurity. Thankfully they released this amazing album for people like me to enjoy. Overall, this is a wonderful album. The low tech, overly earnest feel is timeless - I dare anyone to hear Hard To Please or the organ-propelled The Leaves Are Turning Brown with a keyboard riff that will drill its way into your head and not let go and not be won over. Worth the asking price of an original.
