Sleeve is a gatefold, thick card with sealed left side edge when opened up to reveal The Hermit drawing. Disc is housed in a grey card liner with credits on one side and the lyrics to Stairway to Heaven on the other. Outer glue-tabs on the left and right sides of liner.
Importantly, although Jimmy Page had got all the Executive Producer Peter Grant credits removed from the labels by this time, the liner still retains this credit, bottom left side.
This release was commonly referred to as Led Zeppelin IV , to follow in sequence with their previous three releases, but no actual title appears on the release.

...is in excellent condition. NO RIPS, GREAT SPINE, LOOKS FANTASTIC INSIDE THE GATEFOLD - PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS. The catalogue number 2401012 is written on the back top corner and there is a small bit of rubbing, other than that it is near flawless
THE INNER SLEEVE with Stairway to Heaven lyrics - I DON T BELIEVE I HAVE SEEN AN ORIGINAL ONE IN BETTER CONDITION - All 4 sides are intact, a very minimal bit of rubbing on bottom edge, clean, no tears, no writing - NEAR MINT
The record itself:
LABELS - BOTH SIDES ARE EXCELLENT - very little sign of past use, clean, no sticky marks, no names...GREAT
I am hard pressed to find any sign of age on the vinyl , save for a hairline on side 1 see photo , which has zero impact on playback - BOTH SIDES ARE CLEAN, SHINY AND PRACTICALLY MARK FREE...IT LOOKS VISUALLY AMAZING
WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE? - Well, to my ears it sounded as near off the press , brand new , as I have ever heard a 54 year old piece of vinyl sound. IT DEFIES THOSE YEARS AND BELIES ITS AGE - NOBODY COULD BE DISAPPOINTED - PLAYS SUPERBLY
