Hello and thank you so very much for looking at my item

I have been away from here for what seems like a long time It was due to my father passing away last year. I have been driving back and forth from my house to the family home which takes over 3 hours there and over 3 hours back so you can imagine that it has been painstakingly long in trying to organise the cleaning and maintenance of it He was my life and knowing that he has passed brought utter sadness yet I find warmth in the fact that he is now with my mother who left me a few years ago.

As I previously said in past listings, this was part of my mum s vast memorabilia collection. Now, I find myself having to add that some items were part of my dad s collection too. Now, I need to start slowly emptying the house where they lived for decades.

She just adored collecting everything signed by her fave people in the world much to the detriment of my dad who saw it as an indulgence of MAGNIFICENT proportions

Unfortunately, she passed away and now I have lost my dad too.

She used to work in Waterstones, Piccadilly and managed to always get things signed whenever certain artists, actors or authors would venture into the shop or have a premiere at nearby Leicester Square. She would plan a month in advance who is coming into the store or who is coming to town for premieres, then get their items from the nearest record shop and when the time was right, she would politely ask for an autograph. Precision planning

After work, she regularly drove past the TOTP Studios which was on the way home and had easy access to all the visiting stars.

She loved to collect only items she adored and if she could get signed items of them, all the better

She also used to be in direct contact with a dear dear friend in Sendai, Japan who worked for many years for a few high execs in the Sony/Japan Entertainment Offices as their Personal Assistant. They used to have thousands of entertainment memorabilia which were autographed and mum had them passed on to her over the years.

Thank you for reading, sorry if I have bored you

Good Luck
