Increasingly hard to find and lovely condition 1968 UK 1st press psych gem

Very good plus VG condition vinyl many would grade as excellent , I am sure - completely flat, weighty and retaining a beautiful jet black lacquered sheen, coming across as unmarked in normal daylight, and it is only with close inspection under a bright light that just a couple of very fine wispy hairlines and a couple of small and extremely light scuff lines come into view - each very trivial and purely superficial. Clearly this is a record that has been only sparingly played. The labels are in excellent EX condition - the iconic Island bullseye logo remains perfectly intact on both labels with the matt surface and circular deep groove each being synonymous with UK 1st pressings. Very good plus VG condition fully laminated front back outer sleeve with firm edges and all photos, art-work, and text remaining nicely intact with crystal clear definition still. There is some minor edge scuffing on the bottom edge towards the right corner, just a couple of tiny spine nicks , a small area of vertical laminate lifting next to the spine on the front side towards the bottom left corner, a few 1cm very light laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the spine on both sides, and just a few small and very light handling/storage marks including 4cm of intermittent light scuffing on the reverse side next to the middle of the bottom edge - each trivial, non-obvious, and not detracting from the overall highly presentable condition of this iconic late 60 s psychedelic sleeve. Hard to believe that this outer sleeve is now 57 years of age. Excellent EX stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, distortion or background crackle - wonderful tone and crystal clear reproduction with truly excellent stereo sound quality throughout. I noticed just a couple of random and very low level background clicks - close inspection revealed no obvious reason for these and can only assume the odd speck of dust caught in the grooves through decades of upright storage. Comes with original and very good plus condition original poly-lined inner sleeve with no side splits and just some mild discolouration towards the edges and a 3cm tear at the top right corner. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original.
Yet another under the radar late 60 s psych gem, making 1st pressings increasinglysought after and hard to come by.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
