pre March 1969 release date code

The labels: -
Look bright, have a small mark side 2, no writing and very little signs around both centre holes of it s past use. Very, very, nice condition -

The Vinyl: - visually is in pretty good shape
-

Side one - There are a few light visible hairline marks - some only evident if you look closely enough, and a smudge mark not sure what on track one. There is nothing though that significantly impacts on the listening experience, no loud pops or jumps, just a bit of crackle as you would expect.

Side two - No major deep marks, has a few more visible light hairlines and scuffs than S1, there is a visible scratch a bit more obvious across the first track... see photo and read play test review

The sleeves and vinyl really look great considering this items age

How does it sound? - a track by track analysis...

I played this through and could not believe how good it sounded for its age. Here is a rundown of my fantastic listening experience...definitely no sticking, jumping or loud interference

Side One:

Good Times Bad Times - very light crackle in the run in hardly there though , when the louder music really kicks in it sounds like the fantastic piece of vinyl this should be - nice and loud, NO significant background noise

Babe I m Gonna Leave You - some light crackle in the run in from track 1 and over the start of the acoustic guitar and vocal, some light pops in a few places, - when it builds it is still a fantastic listen with a mighty sound, awesome

You Shook Me - A bit of slightly louder crackle from the end of T2 to the start of T3. Then this is Powerful , and it shook me for sure some very slight background noise as it plays - an awesome listen all the way through nonetheless, guitar solo sounds awesome

Dazed And Confused - transition from T3 into very clean the bass build up sounds very clear and then as it builds it again sounds awesome, really powerful up to that incredible ending

Overall side one - Some light pops and crackle, the loud and proud bits sound awesome

Side Two:

Your Time Is Gonna Come - Great opening , a few little crackles, then straight into that superb organ, it then builds brilliantly, a few very faint pops in the quieter section, then the drums kick in and, great - pretty good all round, there is a small visible scratch that causes some background ticks

Black Mountain Side - and they continue briefly into the intro of track 2 ,Black Mountain Side. Past that though the rest of the track sounded just superb, awesome guitar work, nice and clear plays through nicely

Communication Breakdown - .slight pause then. Wow - Communication Breakdown kicks in - loud, proud and full of attitude still sounding superb on this old piece of vinyl. No background interference apparent. Fantastic It is really rocking by now.

I Can t Quit You Baby - starts quietly and for the first few revolutions there are a few clicks when past it though same as before, sounds pretty good -then a bit of faint crackle throughout - probably the noisiest track on the LP, but nothing too obtrusive.

How many more times - That bass at the start, sounds awesome, then it just rocks Very little noise or crackle detected, just loud LZ rocking as they do best - ends brilliantly - Fantastic

All in all a great example of this RARE item THAT STILL SOUNDS FANTASTIC IN THE MAIN. NOBODY COULD BE DISAPPOINTED...starting bid the sign of the devil...
