Up for bid is an original Columbia House Record club pressing of Nirvana s Nevermind originally released in 1991. The club press is thought to be more scarce than the original retail press with estimates on total pressings for the club somewhere around 3000. Playback of the vinyl is conservatively graded at VG due to some minimal surface noise present most notably during the breaks between songs and in softer spots on certain tracks. Visually the vinyl grades more at EX with little to no signs of wear or scratches present. The inner sleeve is a plain paper sleeve which is correct for this Club pressing as opposed to the standard sleeve for the retail press. The cover grades at a strong VG to EX to with some slight corner dings and some minor spine and top seam wear present but nothing that takes away from the over appeal of the sleeve.
Overall a great quality example and a solid addition to anyone s record collection. Been in mine for sometime but since the recent upgrade to an original retail Masterdisk copy, it s time to let someone else enjoy this one.
