John Lennon of The Beatles 1985 BBC Transcription Services - Words and Music CN 4669/S Rare.
This is a rare opportunity to buy these two 12 Vinyl Records in Near Mint condition.
This is three sides produced by the BBC Transcription Service in 1985 to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of John Lennon s death.
A very small number of these were ever produced and were distributed to Radio Stations around the world. These two records however were never distributed and remained in London and as such it is believed that they have never been played.
They are from a collection of a former BBC employee.As the recording is on only three sides, the fourth unused side has a wonderful embossed pattern, please see photos.
In addition to the records are two copies of the original BBC produced cue notes and one Embargo Notice .There is a small amount of creasing to some of the corners of the outer cover.
So overall, these rare records are in near mint condition from the great John Lennon, with additional cue notes from a genuine source.
