Very Rare Gideon Nxumalo Gideon Plays Original Press South African Jazz

Very Rare.First time for sale.I have checked Popsike, Discogs, Music Stack and private sales and have found no sales of this record.There have only been 6 sales of his original records-3- His 1962 Lp Jazz Fantasia2- Early Mart a tribute record he plays on 1- HMV 78 There was a limited run of 30 reissues of Gideon Plays made by someone in Germany, I assume that they had an original that they copied from.
About the Artist:Gideon Mgibe Nxumalo nk mal born 15 June 1929 in Kimberley died 24 December 1970 was a South African jazz pianist and marimba player, acclaimed also as a composer and arranger.
Nxumalo has been hailed as perhaps one of South Africa s greatest unsung musical and cultural heroes.
