I ship in very sturdy record mailers with 2 solid cardboard stiffeners and tape very well with shipping tape.
Shipping is a little heavier because of this but I choose safety over cheaper cost for shipping.
I also always separate the record from the cover during shipping to prevent splits unless item is already sealed.
Any LP that is 50 USD or more I give the royal treatment with protective plastic sleeves for the LP and cover.
All 45 s come in a plastic protective sleeve no matter the final auction.
