READ THIS These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning. I can t test-play at the minute. Please don t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP 1968 White Album Apple First Pressing 6 Errors Complete, Nice Keeper Copy

Please Note: Thank you to all who purchased a copy of my book on flash drive this Christmas Season, and for the marvelous feedback on its contents

This flash drive will be retired for the season at the end of the month, so if you re still one of the Watchers, please buy yours now. Otherwise, you ll have to wait until next year. Best for a Happy New Year to us all.

Not a NM copy, but certainly nowhere near a starter The only error missing is that the question mark is present after Why Don t We Do It in the Road?

This copy includes a yellow spacer.

Errors are as follows:

1. Obladi-Oblada

2. Bungalow Bill

3. Rocky Racoon

4. Revolution No. 1

5. Revolution No. 9

6. Goodnight

Vinyl--- VG /VG . VG /VG . All four sides have just a handful of very light lines, none of which can be felt by the fingertip. Each side retains at least a good 85 original shine Some graders could go VG , and they wouldn t be wrong.

Plates--- J46/J46. J47/J44. Machine-stamped triangle with the letters, IAM inside it makes this copy pressed by Scranton.

Cover--- VG . All four panels have light to moderate dirtwear and browning. Some light foxing around the number on the front cover. Front and back covers have plenty of original gloss. All four seams look great. Bottom second pocket has a one-inch split, though.

Gatefold--- VG . Same as front and back covers. A little more foxing. Browning is more pronounced on the gatefold. NO CENTER SEAM SPLITS.

Labels--- EX/EX. EX/EX. All four labels are still nice and glossy. Side 1 label has the extra factory error that the ink in the bottom titles didn t fill in. All labels are rich and dark, light and few spindle marks only.

Poster--- G. This is the weak spot of the package. Poster has a couple of split seams and a moderate amount of finger divots. Pinholes in all the corners. A replacement poster would be appropriate.

Photos--- EX/VG . EX/EX. All four photos have survived the five decades surprisingly well. They all retain the first pressing darker prints with the richer colors. Cardboard stock is thick. Printed in U.S.A. circle from the 1968 prints is present in the bottom left corners. The only photo that shows wear is Paul s. His has some light creases at the top. Ringo has one light crease. Barely ANY finger divots to any of them All four photos have 100 gloss retention. VERY nice set of first-print 1968 photos

Spacer--- EX. Spacer barely shows wear. NO yellowing unless this one was white originally Still nice and flat. One lone spec on one side. Spacer is the same thick card stock as the photos, which is definitely an early one. Most spacers have thinner paper stock.

Apple Inner Sleeves--- VG/VG. Generic white inner sleeves with no die-cut holes for the labels to show is present. Both sleeves have split seams, one each. One seam split is wide. That one has false start written on it at the top, probably referring to Revolution No. 1. So at least we know which sleeve went to which album.

Generic inner sleeves will be provided, so as not to damage your original Apple inner sleeves en route.

RIAA: N/A

This copy is beautiful enough to be your keeper

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks

Note: All LP s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids. A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don t bid unless you re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks

Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks
