Nick Drake - Five Leaves Left
1969 UK 1st Pressing Pink Island LP
Matrix Stampings: ILPS 9105 A//2 ILPS 9105 B//2
This is a 1st Pressing with corrected label on Side 1, released on the Pink Island label with black block logo, in a fold-out cover. Day Is Done Way To Blue track listing is reversed on cover list but label is correct. Album actually plays Way To Blue followed by Day Is Done
Play tested on my Linn Sondek LP12 Turntable using a Dynavector DV20X2 cartridge - No skipping, no warps, Sounds outstanding, it has only been played a handful of times in it s 57 years since manufacture. I would be very confident in saying that it is possibly the best sounding and cleanest vinyl example currently available.....
I have ultrasonically cleaned this record, and apart from a single wispy hairline which I m unable to capture with my camera, and is also near impossible to see by eye, it has absolutely no marks, scratches, rubs, scuffs whatsoever.....etc
Visually the album appears perfect under bright light.....a 100 NM, it it wasn t for the fact tit was 57 years old, I d be pushed to say it was Mint......
Inner Sleeve - great condition considering age, the clear poly lining is separating from the paper on one side, but is still intact and works as it should, needless to say the vinyl is kept in a new poly lined inner since being cleaned.
Album cover - VG , very light corner and edge wear, with minor ring wear on front upper area, fully readable spine, all intact and a fine example.
Slight sticker mark front top right.....no tears, splits, writing, water damage, fading....etc please see photos, I can provide more, and videos on request
