While we were there, I went thumbing through their CD section and was shocked to see what appeared to be a legitimate copy of the Beatles Abbey Road album. None of the Beatles records had been released on CD in the U.S. yet and I hadn t seen any imports before this one from Japan that I now held in my greedy little fingers, and it was the only copy they had I asked .

I bought it, of course, and when I got home and played it, was amazed at the quality of the sound, both through speakers and my headphones.
