Velvet Underground Nico Mono W Andy Warhol Banana Peel Cover Torso Bonus Cd

The Velvet Underground Nico original edition MONO with Torso back cover plus bonus CD digitally remastered from the original master tapes and cassette.
The album is the original 1967 Mono pressing with the original torso of Eric Emerson on the back cover.
Album version V-5008.
The Velvets and Sterling Morrison rate the mono version to be superior to the stereo version.
The torso back cover is much sought after as Emerson brought a lawsuit to get payed for it.
The back cover was later covered with a sticker and later airbrushed out rather than settle with Emerson for it.
Vinyl is in VG condition with light scratches and occasional pops or crackles which do not distract from the listening pleasure.
Still plenty of shine to the lp.
Cover is in good condition with a 4 inch split at the top and bottom.
Plays all the way through with no skips.
Very small piece of banana missing off the top of the peal.
