THE OPEN MIND Same LP 1969 UK Orig.
1st Press Philips SBL 7893 Prog Psych Gem The band was formed in the mid-1960s by four musicians from Putney, South London.
Initially named The Drag Set, the group released a little-known single in February 1967.
It was called Day and Night / Get Out of My Way .
Shortly thereafter, the band changed its name to The Open Mind.
What is even more, in July 1969 its members released a self-titled LP which has since become a real treasure for the collectors.The Open Mind produced one of the finest psychedelic albums in the United Kingdom.
What is even more interesting, it is excellent throughout and hardly contains a bad track.
The music is characteristic due to some particularly strong psychedelic guitar work and remarkable vocals.
It is simply impossible to choose particular tracks as highlights they are all almost equally good.
Condition: The vinyl is a near MINT condition.
Under the direct sunlight, a very small number of surface paper lines are visible.
However, they do not affect the quality of the sound.
It is a thick, unbent, and shiny vinyl.
The record has been played only a few times no quality deterioration spotted and only sporadic skips.
Exceptional deep pressing, breathtaking dynamics, and one-of-a-kind quality of sound of almost the entire album.
Labels are in the near MINT condition.
Fully laminated single sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition to learn more, check the provided pictures.
Original inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition.
