Vertigo Lp Uk 1971 Swirl Nirvana 6360031 Local Anaesthetic Classic Cover

This has to be one of the best examples of Vertigo cover photo artwork.
Another of my Vertigo LPs up for grabs and plenty more to list as time allows.
Keep watching The cover is a non-laminated gatefold in nice clean condition.
Corners are square and tight and the spine is nice with oh so minor wear on all corners.
Another one of those fresh feeling covers that you know hasn t been abused.
But due to its age the outer sides show some shiny rubbing which is solely a natural process on the card.
And a couple of small sticker tears up by the Vertigo logo which are not particularly noticeable as they blend into the wall texture of the picture itself.
I give the cover an EXC rating at worse.
The vinyl itself is flat, no dishing.
On the run-off grooves, side A matrix no.
is 6360031 1Y // 1 and side B matrix no.
is 6360031 2Y // 1.
Possibly a few indented numbers after both but too small to read.
The spindle hole is tight with evidence of a few plays at best.
The vinyl is shiny and again typically at first glance looks near minty but under the light it shows some faint paper or otherwise scuff and handling marks.
In grading parlance I would give it an EXC or a conservative 8.5 /10.
Always I don t want to oversell the condition but it is really another great example.
The Vertigo polythene lined inner bag is in unmarked and untorn shape but does show age and glue browning.
Again, no reserve and auction will run to end.
