The Beatles MONO White Album - EARLY low numbered 1st pressing, no EMI side one , first Matrix pressing - COMPLETE with poster, photos, spacer and black inners.
Original 1968 UK MONO 1st pressing with original top opening numbered sleeve and dark green Apple labels with Sold in UK label text.
Pressed and manufactured ahead of the 22nd November 1968 release date.
A superb example of an early MONO white album. All four sides are from the 1st matrix. Complete in an early 1st issue top opening numbered MONO sleeve 0035857

EXCELLENT
An original 1968 1st issue MONO top opening early numbered sleeve 0035857.
A well preserved and original 1968 MONO cover showing very little signs of wear for its age. There is some light storage wear to the corners and some mild discolouration and yellowing. There is only one light thumbnail crease to the front panel but other than this there is very little to fault. The interior gatefold shows some discolouration but otherwise is in pristine condition. It is now becoming increasingly difficult to find original and low numbered MONO sleeves in this kind preservation. The cover grades at EXCELLENT
Visual
Disc 1
Side one: EXCELLENT Side two: EXCELLENT
Disc one appears virtually MINT when viewed in strong daylight. Under an unforgiving halogen desklight nothing much more is revealed other than some light handling marks and faint whispy sleeve removal marks.
Disc 2
Side three: EXCELLENT- Side four: EXCELLENT-
Disc two has some light handling marks visible in strong daylight. There is however nothing that could be described as a scratch. Overall grading is EXCELLENT minus.
Both discs lay 100 flat on the turntable.
Labels
Side 1 EXC / MINT- Side 2 EXCELLENT
A well preserved and fresh set of labels showing very little signs of play. Side one OMITS EMI recording text. There is no writing or personnalisation to either label.
Side 3 EXC / MINT- Side 4 EXCELLENT
A well preserved set of labels showing only light spindle trails. There is no writing or personalisation to either label.
Audio
EXCELLENT
Both discs have a very rich and powerful analogue sound. The song Birthday being especially powerful on this particular pressing with a very clear bass and snare drum sound. There is no groovewear or distortion to any of the music signals. There is however some surface noise on the outro to Sexy Sadie and there is some light ticks on Revolution no.9. Most tracks grade at or around MINT -. Blackbird is clear and plays superbly as does While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Everybody s Got Something to Hide, Happiness is a Warm Gun, Piggies, Rocky Raccoon. Other than the occasional light surface noise this pressing has superb MONO audio. Neither disc jumps or sticks.
Inner-sleeves VERY GOOD
Original vintage black inners dating to 1968.
Poster EXCELLENT
Original and genuine 1968 1st issue lipstick poster with only light handling marks. There are no seam splits or pin holes.
Photos 3 x MINT, 1 x EXCELLENT
Original and genuine 1st issue photos on the thicker card stock, positively dating to 1968. A superb fresh set with no writing or pin holes to any photo. McCartney, Starr and Harrison photos are all in MINT condition Lennon photo has some light handling marks and grades at EXCELLENT.
Spacer EXCELLENT
Comes with original 1968 spacer which is slightly narrower than usual but has been factory cut to these dimensions
