This was the first Australian release of the the album version, which was previously only available in Australia as the double EP on vinyl. Side 1 is in true stereo, but Side 2 (until the digital era) has the duophonic versions of Penny Lane, Baby, You're A Rich Man, and All You Need Is Love. However, the reel-to-reel version was in true stereo.

This is the second pressing, from 1970. The sleeve design is unchanged, but the labels no longer have the "Northern Songs" logo towards the top right. Speed, Side One, etc, is at the right, instead of the left.

Track Credit for B2 is:
Strawberry Fields Forever (Lennon-McCartney) composer credit on the first line. (Northern Songs) is on the second line.
This is different to the third variation which has the Northern Songs publishing credit on the second line with the composer credit..

On the back cover George Martin appears as 'Big George Martin', on the labels as just 'George Martin'.
