Silver/Yellow/Black Parlophone label. The "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "EMI Records Ltd." and the label has two EMI boxed logos with a background in yellow, as opposed to one boxed logo on the 1969 version. 'Made in Great Britain' on label at 4 o'clock. Parlophone and the logo are also printed in yellow.

Has “stereo” on the front cover.
Bottom, rear cover, on right says, “Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.

Full title on back cover is 'Songs from the film A Hard Day's Night'. Side 1 is taken from the soundtrack of the United Artists film 'A Hard Day's Night'.
