One sided VINYL record with a burnished flipside. Label for the flip is a reversed A side label as in other similar one-sided test pressings from this period such as : [r11605178]

Same basic matrix number as the 1968 Apple issue with the inclusion of the unique 'APP CUST 7 EDIT' The text "All Rights Reserved, Unauthorized Duplication.....etc" didn't start appearing on Apple 45s until September 1975.

Although the label lists the time as 7:11, the version of "Hey Jude" here fades out the song for a total length of 3:53, losing most of the chorus at the end. This is the shortest version of "Hey Jude" released. It is also a little slower than the original Apple 45 version. It is MONO just as the 45 release but without the compression found on the normal Apple 45. There are more dynamics on this version, easily seen when in an audio edit station.
