Originally released on Apple Records in 1968, and known colloquially as the White Album.

Reissue on Capitol with the same catalog number.

"SRC" logo stamped in runouts and "E A S T" embossed on sides B and D denote [l=Specialty Records Corporation] pressing. Remainder of runouts etched, "MASTERED BY CAPITOL" stamped. Metalwork for side D from [l=Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Winchester] (crossed out rifle logo).

Otherwise similar to [r=1436440], which has different cutting engineers scribed in the runouts and [l314605] metalwork used on Side C.

Issued on black Capitol rainbow/colorband labels with rimtext in top and bottom. Labels have "Record 1" and "Record 2" designation.
Issued in gatefold jacket with "The Beatles" in gray print, "Stereo" on back cover.
Issued with insert with photos on a perforated and folded one-sheet, catalog number SWBO-101 M.I.C.61421, and 22" x 33" folded double-sided poster with photos and lyrics.
