The material on the companion disc presents a portal to the time of the recording of Led Zeppelin. It is a selection of work in progress with rough mixes, backing tracks, alternate versions and new material recorded at the time

Runouts are entirely etched and where [l313190]'s "faintly inscribed "geometric" marks" appear, these are mirrored:
Variant 2: Side A '-=1', Side B '△+1', Side C '==1', Side D 'T=1'
Variant 3: Side A '1=-', Side B '▽+V', Side C '⟘+V', Side D '11△'
Variant 4: Side A '++', Side B 'V/\/\', Side C 'II/\', Side D 'V++'

Due to the nature of the hand etching, it can sometimes appear that there is a space between the letters and numbers of the [l313190] identifiers. However, as per the [l313190] label page, their runout scheme "is in fact always without spaces."
