This is an original 1969 pressing, on the black PARLOPHONE label (Parlophone PCS 7070). Made from UK plates (YEX 715-1 and YEX 716-1), this is a very early pressing made in The Netherlands. But whereas this LP is always found with the customary Apple labels, this particular copy is on BLACK PARLOPHONE labels. Not unlike the Rubber Soul LP on the black Odeon label, which was also released in this country. Whether it was made for export purposes (which is a likely scenario) is not 100% known,

As with most 1960s albums issued in Holland, this Beatles LP comes in a UK produced cover (flipback). This is the version with the red lines on the rear and a Patent No. (943,895) on the back, as well as the release numbers for both the Stereo (PCS 7070) as the Mono (PMC 7070) editions.
