Tan labels first appeared in Australia in 1977 and were available until the end of the RCA contract in the mid 1980's.
From the first release of Changesonebowie in June 1976, through 1977 all Australian RCA Bowie albums came with a generic inner sleeve advertising the album catalogue, unless they had a dedicated inner sleeve. Inclusion of this inner sleeve ceased prior to the late 1978 release of Stage.
