Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon A2/b2 Solid Blue Triangle Posters/stickers Ex

THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON A2/B2 This A2/B2 first press of The Dark Side of the Moon is in stunning condition for its age as my gradings below state.
The audio is amazing and has very little interference and is a very rare find.
The depth and clarity is of a very high standard.
This iconic LP obviously has the solid blue triangle on the label as per all the A2/B2 pressings.
It comes complete with the midnight blue cover, a rarity in itself.
Many were issued with the dark black gatefold.
This particular cover has been extremely well looked after with only slight shelf wear.
Also included are the posters and the stickers.
SHVL804 A-2 GDR 5 / SHVL804 B-2 GGA 1 both stamped Visual grading For its age and rarity the vinyl is in excellent condition.
Under a bright light you can detect some faint hairlines, a couple of longer ones, but as my play grading below testifies they have very little affect on the audio quality.
The vinyl retains a glossy sheen and has been very well looked after.
Whilst you can see that it has been played a number of times due to the spindle marks on the labels I am quite honestly astounded with the quality of the sound on this LP.
Play grading I have listened to this rare LP in its entirety and the audio is stunning, probably the best I have heard on this highly collectible first pressing.
There is minimal lead in static and then Speak To Me and Breathe play with excellent clarity and only light static.
It is worth noting that it is in no way obtrusive and is a great start to Side One.
On The Run is superb for such a quiet track with almost no static apart from a little towards the end.
The clocks reverberate superbly at the beginning of Time with stunning audio and the remainder does not disappoint either.
It really plays with a wonderful depth and resonance and is a fantastic listen for a first press.
I cannot explain in words just how good it is Breathe Reprise also has no background interference at all.

plays superbly with only the slightest hint of static and it continues with the same quality of audio.
To be honest this is one of the best Great Gig s...
I have heard, let alone one on an A2/B2 pressing.
So often it plays with distortion but not on this one.
Even the very quiet ending plays with stunning audio with barely any static.
Money starts Side Two with a little background static but again does not interfere with the high quality audio in my opinion.
There is a little more interference right at the end but overall a wonderful version with great depth and clarity.
Us and Them plays with some light crackle but hey this LP is over 40 years old It is still a great listen with no loud clicks or jumps at all.
You still won t find many better versions on an A2/B2 press.
Any Colour You Like plays with sheer quality with the absolute minimum of static, an amazing listen.
The final two classic tracks play with exceptionally clear audio also.
Eclipse commonly plays with distortion, being the final track on the side where the grooves are often pressed closer together, but if there is any here it is only very minor.
In summary this is probably the best A2/B2 pressing I have heard.
Whilst there is a little intermittent static it in no way interferes with the overall listening pleasure and it is only very in the background for that matter.
There are no loud clicks, pops or jumps at all.
I am sure any keen Floyd collector would be extremely pleased with this first press.
So many play poorly due to being played to death in smoke/drug filled rooms in the 70s that you do not find many of this quality today.
Yes there are some faint hairlines but there are no deep scratches or marks whatsoever.
Gatefold cover midnight blue As stated the Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold is of the midnight blue variety and is in exceptional condition considering it age and hopefully the photos do it justice.
There is barely any wear to the edges, just a little rubbing to the corners.
The spine has also stood the test of time fantastically well.
The opening edge has a little handling wear and there is very minor wear at the bottom of the reverse side but is really not that noticeable.
The original sticker is on the front and remains in excellent order.
The inside of the gatefold is in wonderful condition with only very minor spotting here and there.
There are no marks/writing anywhere on this cover.
Overall a great first press cover and it would be difficult to find any better.
Inner sleeve The vinyl is contained within the original die cut polylined sleeve with patent numbers and Made in Great Britain in silver at the bottom.
It has no splits or tears and is in excellent condition.
Labels The solid blue triangle labels are in excellent condition with no marks or writing on whatsoever.
Just some spindle wear.
Posters and Stickers The two glossy posters are in excellent condition with no rips or tears.
Both stickers have also been extremely well cared for.
The backing paper is tan with 45 degree angled diagonal stripes of dark brown from the top to bottom, and FasPrint Permanent and Crack Back Patented on the paper.
