Item Description

THE BEATLES - THE BEATLES HOTTEST HITS This exceptional genuine 12-track mono compilation was released in Denmark in 1965 Available for just a few weeks, this LP has become one of The Beatles rarest and most sought after worldwide vinyl releases This 100 genuine 1st pressing is on the ridged black silver Parlophone label: PMCS 306 Machine stamped matrix numbers: XSTX 115 1 XSTX 116 1 Vinyl weight: 154g Housed in its original front laminated, tri-flipback Eskimo cover, Printed in Denmark original plain white inner-sleeve.
CONDITION Disc Labels: EXCELLENT Both are clean undamaged with a small number of light spindle trails around each unworn cnetre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT Both playing surfaces are very clean and retain an excellent deep-gloss finish.
Along with a few non-feelable hairlines, the only other visual blemishes in strong daylight are some small clouded areas one on the edge of side 1 and 3 to the edge on side 2.
These areas measure 10cms at their widest point but go no further than 1cm into the playing surface of track 1 on each side.
Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than some wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine.
Both sides of this rare disc lie 100 flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT This fine sounding disc has received minimal careful play on good equipment and my single careful playcheck at volume revealed no groove/playwear distortion on any track or in either channel.
In fact, apart from a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks, there really is very little to fault.
There are certainly no clicks, pops, jumps, repeats or any other such audible distractions.
A tough copy to upgrade.
Cover: EXCELLENT An exceptional example of this legendary cover which retains a perfectly clean high-gloss bearing just a single small thumbnail wrinkle a hint of storagewear.
There is a light crease which runs down the front opening edge and there is also a 1cm tear there.
All corners are in great shape with no bumps or bruising to any.
The rear panel is superb clean white with the only blemish being the original owner s name written stylishly along the undamaged rear opening edge.
There is a tiny 1cm stress to the lower seam but the upper one and the unworded spine are unworn.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD This item is located in and will be shipped from AUSTRIA.
