Item Description

THE BEATLES - No.1 This 1964 French mono pressing of Please, Please Me is on the orange black Odeon label: OSX 225 Matrix numbers: XAR 783 22/M6 231562 XAR 784 22/M6 231563 Vinyl weight: 165g Housed within its original fully laminated, French designed printed flipback cover.
CONDITION Disc Labels: NEAR MINT An immaculate, unblemished set bearing just a small handful of barely visible spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT Extremely clean unworn playing surfaces which retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine with no noticeable marks or wear in strong daylight.
Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a few harmless paper scuffs consistent with inner-sleeve removal, but no scratches or any other significant traces of wear.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT This fine sounding copy has received just a few careful plays and the sound quality is impressive throughout and easily comparable with the UK 1st pressing.
My single careful play-check at volume detected just a hint of playwear on the last two tracks on side 1 but no background crackle/interference, clicks, pops or indeed any other audible distractions anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT A spectacular example of this uniquely designed cover which has been carefully stored in a clean non-smoking environment all its life.
The front panel is perfectly clean retains a pristine high-gloss laminate free from any scratching, thumbnail s or even a single spine wrinkle.
there is just a faint, unavoidable disc impression from storage, but really nothing else.
The only factor which prevents a NEAR MINT grade is a tiny 3mm nick to the front opening edge.
All corners are perfectly sharp and unbumped/unrubbed from both the front rear.
The rear panel is immaculate with no trace of any wear to any part.
Both seams are smooth unsplit and the spine is unworn and perfectly worded.
No original inner-sleeve is present with this copy.
