Item Description

ARZACHEL - ARZACHELA solid very good plus condition copy of this 1969 UK 1st press prog/psych gem with brilliant sound quality throughoutYear/Label : UK Evolution 1969Label number : STEREO Z 1003Matrix numbers : Z 1003A1 - H / Z 1003B1 - HStampers : 1 / A 1Supremely rare and highly sought after 1969 UK 1st press prog/psych holy grail with very good plus VG condition vinyl - weighty, gleaming, jet black sheen and earliest A H/B H dead wax matrix pressing with some extremely faint paper scuffs and the odd very fine wispy hairline on both sides - all purely superficial and only really identifiable with close inspection under a bright light.
Crisp, clean excellent plus EX condition labels with just a few small and extremely faint spindle trails in evidence on each.
The front-side laminated flipback sleeve remains in presentable very good VG condition with firm edges and a single 3cm scuff, incorporating a 1cm seam split in the middle of the scuff, in the middle of the bottom edge.
There is some minor scuffing on each corner along with a number of 1-2cm horizontal light surface laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the spine.
There is also a 9cm diagonal laminate crease towards the bottom left corner.
The reverse side has some light shelf wear/storage/handling marks, just the hint of some very mild age discolouration and some intermittent laminate creasing on the flipbacks which otherwise remain in great shape.
there is also the name BILL written at the top right corner on the reverse side.
Each of these blemishes is relatively minor but nonetheless noticeable.
The front side at work remains beautifully intact with perfect definition still and as iconic as ever.
The quality of the stereo audio is superb with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, or interference and any background crackle is occasional, very light, at an absolute minimum and certainly not intrusive.
I did notice x3 light clicks at the beginning of A4 but close inspection revealed no obvious cause, and on side 2 there is the very occasional light, sporadic click which I can only put down to the odd speck of dust caught in the grooves through decades of storage.
These blemishes are very minor and do nothing to diminish the breathtaking listening experience of this outrageously sensational LP Comes complete with original plain white inner sleeve with correct UK PATENT NO....
text - this inner sleeve is the original 1st press thin paper variant and so remains fragile, but has no side splits or tears, just some mild creasing.
I will of course ship the vinyl in an alternative new poly-lined inner sleeve to prevent transit damage to this original one.Rare, holy grail, sensational, outrageous...the hyperboles are endless.
If you don t buy it then go out and purchase a re-press, lock yourself in a room, and play it loud - this record may just change your life POSTAGE COSTS : For the UK 8 using Royal Mail special delivery for continental Europe 13 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked/signed for,and for the rest of the world 19 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked/signed for.I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases.
