Original 1st US Casablanca Records release of Kiss 2nd concert album Alive II released on October 14, 1977. Pressed by Keel Manufacturing Corp., the currently listed copy represents a holy grail for every Kiss collector. The copies with a single misprint are extremely rare, but finding a copy of this album with a double misprint is practically impossible. The original gatefold cover of this copy not only indicates the Take Me , Hooligan and Do You Love Me tracks on the back which aren t present on the album, but also has the second misprint indicating the 7 songs credit numbers on the back with only 6 of them being present inside the gatefold. We put in the maximum effort to very carefully pull back the shrink wrap and make sure that the gatefold inside contained the misprint and then, with no less care put it back into place. The cover in the fully intact original factory shrink wrap with an original hype sticker comes with a fully complete set of promotional memorabilia featuring:

-A Kiss tattoos insert with the application instructions

The runout grooves of all of the four sides feature the pressing plant s identifier in the form of the Union Jack flag as well as the Sterling machine stamp of the New York-based Sterling Sound mastering company.

The stunning cover is in Near Mint Minus condition. It s extremely hard to find a cover of this album in a great condition, not to mention this cover contains a double misprint and remains in the original factory shrink wrap. The cover only has a couple of very light creases on the front with the fully intact shrink wrap not having any splits, tears or missing pieces. The vinyl is graded as somewhere between Strong Very Good Plus and Excellent Minus for Side 1, 2 and 3 with Side 4 being in Very Good Plus condition. The vinyl retains its beautiful factory lacquer only having a few very light non-feelable surface hairlines that don t affect the playback in any way as well as scuffs from the original inner sleeves. which are in Near Mint condition. The labels are super clean and are in practically Mint Minus condition without having any wear, scuffs or spindle marks. The vinyl sounds great with a punchy and vivid Stereo audio only having some very light occasional static which most likely would go away if the record was professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine. All of the album s original memorabilia are in great unused condition.
