Incredibly rare original 1975 very early pressing factory sealed copy of Kiss 1st live double album released by Casablanca Records. Alive is the best-selling album of all of the Kiss albums. Released on September 10, 1975, the album was already certified Gold by the R.I.A.A. with 500,000 copies sold in the US by December. The currently listed factory sealed copy was pressed after the album was certified Gold by the R.I.A.A. Very early 1st print gatefold cover variation contains a 2 Record Set banner at the top right corner and a gold-foil Specially Priced 2-Record Set Including an 8-Page Color Booklet / Audited and Certified Gold by the R.I.A.A. Recording Industry Association of America sticker with the NBLP 7020 catalog number at the top left corner on the front cover. Alive features the concert versions from the Kiss first 3 studio albums: Kiss , Hotter Than Hell and Dressed to Kill. In total, the album stayed on the charts for 110 weeks, the longest in the band s history. Alive is ranked 159th on The Rolling Stone magazine s list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time .
Stunning final upgrade copy in vintage Mint condition. The shrink wrap containing the original breathe holes is fully intact and doesn t have any splits, tears or missing pieces. All of the cover s corners are sharp and in great condition, perhaps only with the bottom right corner having a very light and barely noticeable ding.
